Rever Myers

1909 - 1984

Rever married Alexander "Sammy" James in 1925. Together they had nine children, Matthew, Elizabeth, Reather, Ada, Luella, Alexander Jr., Nathaniel, Idella and Louis.

"Ree", As she was called, worked the farm for the first fourteen years of her marriage. Sammy worked for the Southern Railroad. The family migrated to New York in 1939, Rever worked as a railroad car cleaner during World War II, and Sammy worked in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
