1914 - 1973

Shorty worked for the Southern Railroad in South Carolina. He also was an oil burner mechanic and laborer. Leroy was married to Lucille Ward and had no children. Shorty, like many of the Myers', would fight at the drop of a hat. He was big, strong and fun loving and was also known as "Big Champ"
